We are proud to offer the following evidence-based modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Trauma Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems Therapy. Our programs are individualized for each client, where multiple psychotherapies are included in treatment.

Absolutely! Our partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient care are all available for those who have work, school, and family obligations. We understand not every client will be able to attend our 24 hour facility for treatment, so we make it as seamless as possible to get the help you need.

Many of our clients come to us without medical insurance. We’ll help you get the coverage you need to attend treatment, or find alternative payment means. We believe everyone deserve quality and affordable addiction medicine. In some instances we are able to offer payment plans to keep the cost of treatment manageable.

The short answer is: yes. Before continuing on to residential rehabilitation all clients are required to go through a detoxification program. Clients may elect to detox with Harbor Village or transfer over from a different facility after successful completion of the program.

All addictive substances, including alcohol, all have varied withdrawal symptoms. The severity of symptoms changes from person to person. However there are no substances, in which one is physically or psychologically addicted to, that will not cause withdrawal symptoms. We understand going through withdrawal turn many away from treatment or years, and sometimes altogether. Our medically monitored detox program is designed to treat all symptoms of withdrawal safely. Throughout detoxification care clients are regularly monitored and are kept as comfortable as possible.

Yes! We accept most major medical insurances including, but not limited to, atena, AvMed, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Care Plus, Cigna, Healthfirst and Humana. If you do not see your insurance listen, don’t worry! You can verify your insurance coverage directly on our website under the “Admissions” tab or call us directly.

Our medically monitored detox program typically lasts between seven and ten days. However, upon recommendation from medical staff, detox may take longer or shorter depending on one’s symptoms and recovery progress.

Depending on your medical coverage, most major insurance plans will either cover all detox costs or a portion, depending on your plan. If you are unable to pay your portion for treatment we can work with you to find a solution that works.

Your privacy is important to us. We follow federal HIPAA guidelines to the letter. All communication between external parties must be approved by you explicitly.

The short answer is no. Attempting to detox by yourself (even with the help of a friend or family member) is extremely dangerous, and may result in serious mental and physical consequences. In some instances those who choose to forgo a medically monitored detoxification program lose their lives in the attempt. The symptoms of withdrawal are treatable in a medical setting, however, without proper support the symptoms of withdrawal can be very severe. Many who attempt to detox on their own quickly relapse thereafter.

The duration of rehab is different from client to client. Not everyone recovers at the same rate. Typically clients attend treatment between 30, 90, or 120 days. Clinicians will work hand-in-hand with you to create an individualized plan that builds a solid foundation for long-term sobriety.

Although our clinicians treat both men and women, we understand males and females may suffer from gender-centric difficulties. We do not offer an exclusive women’s rehabilitation program, however, during treatment commonly encountered problems for women are addressed. Our programs are individualized and will tackle each client’s problems differently. Treatment is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but we are dedicated to helping our female clients recover in a safe and positive environment.

We certainly do! Our 12-step program is evidence-based and supplemented with additional therapies. We also offer SMART recovery programs.
